Eva is a new style for our Women’s range, introduced for our Autumn / Winter 2022 catalogue. Eva is a classic Penny Loafer that has been built on the 6230 Last, this fits true to UK size.
For many years, Tricker’s has made various designs of the classic loafer. A firm favourite in our Men’s collection is James. Eva resembles our James Penny Loafer, however Eva features a Vi-Lite sole.
Maintaining momentum in the ever-changing world of fashion and footwear is not as easy as it may appear. While we want to add new designs and finishes, we realise the importance of staying true to Tricker’s reputation for outstanding manufacturing and quality. Providing Eva with a Vi-Lite sole adds a ‘chunky’ aesthetic to the style and helps with fashionable appeal.  
A deep, rich brown just like a really good espresso should be. Our Espresso Burnished colourway is the perfect tone for those not wanting to wear black. Perfect for all occasions and beautiful when ages and full of the character gained from plenty of wear.
This Eva is made from calf leather. Calf leather is finer grained, and lighter in weight than the hide of older cattle. This means that it is also more supple. It is also very durable in comparison to its thickness.
We advise using a Brown polish to help care for these Eva Shoes. As you put the polish on, darker patches will appear which is the burnish. Don’t be afraid, this is the affect of the shoe.
